Clinical Pastoral Education International is committed to providing an educational and professional environment that is welcoming, respectful, and free from harassment and discrimination.
This commitment applies to CPEI students, faculty, staff, members, Affiliate Organizations, applicants, and others participating in CPEI programs, services, and activities.

CPEI does not tolerate discriminatory conduct that interferes with a person’s participation in its educational programs, professional activities, membership, or services.
CPEI does not tolerate harassment of any nature, including sexual harassment, unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.

All participants in CPEI programs and activities are expected to contribute to an environment that supports learning, professional formation, open communication, and respect for others.

Reporting a Concern
Anyone who experiences, observes, or becomes aware of possible discrimination or harassment connected with CPEI is encouraged to report the concern promptly.
When appropriate, concerns may first be discussed with the CPEI faculty member, staff member, supervisor, or department most directly involved. Formal concerns may also be submitted through CPEI’s complaints and grievance process.
Reported violations may be referred to the CPEI Ethics Committee for review, investigation, and recommendations consistent with applicable CPEI policies and procedures.
CPEI seeks to address concerns fairly, responsibly, and with appropriate regard for privacy and due process.
