Accessibility Statement

Accessibility at CPEI

Clinical Pastoral Education International is committed to making its educational programs, services, communications, and digital content accessible to diverse audiences.

CPEI seeks to remove barriers that may limit equal access for people with disabilities and to provide reasonable accommodations when appropriate.

Our Commitment

Accessible learning, communication, and participation

CPEI is committed to supporting meaningful access across its website, educational programs, student services, meetings, documents, and other institutional communications.

Inclusive Access

CPEI seeks to make programs, services, and information available in ways that support equitable participation.

Accessible Materials

When possible, CPEI provides documents and communications in accessible formats and works to address barriers when they are identified.

Digital Accessibility

CPEI works to ensure that website content and other digital communications follow recognized accessibility practices.

Reasonable Accommodations

Requesting an accommodation

Individuals are responsible for notifying CPEI when an accommodation may be needed. CPEI may request information about the accommodation being requested or the functional limitation the accommodation is intended to address.

Accommodation requests are reviewed individually. The goal is to identify reasonable and appropriate support that enables meaningful access while preserving the essential requirements of the applicable program, service, or activity.

Need an accommodation?

Submit the Disability Accommodation Form for review by CPEI.

Website Accessibility

Our ongoing work

CPEI is working to improve the accessibility and usability of its website for all visitors. This includes attention to:

  • Clear page structure and heading order.
  • Keyboard navigation.
  • Readable text and adequate color contrast.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images.
  • Descriptive links and buttons.
  • Responsive layouts for different devices and screen sizes.
  • Accessible documents and downloadable materials when possible.

Accessibility is an ongoing process. As content, technology, and services change, CPEI will continue reviewing and improving its digital resources.

Third-Party Platforms and Documents

Some CPEI services, forms, learning systems, documents, and linked resources are provided through third-party platforms. CPEI may not control every aspect of those systems, but we welcome reports of accessibility barriers and will work with the appropriate provider or offer an alternative when reasonably possible.

Report an Accessibility Barrier

We want to hear from you.

Contact CPEI if you encounter difficulty accessing a webpage, document, form, video, or other CPEI resource. Please identify the material or page involved and describe the barrier you experienced.
